Responsibilities:
We are looking for an exceptional Financial Operations Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for owning Inventory, Margins, and Expenses including all the data, reporting, systems, and procedures. The ideal candidate will have previous operational or accounting experience, attention to detail, a problem solving mindset, and data skills. This position will need to collaborate with various teams across the company.
- Maintain the accuracy of inventory, margin and expense records and data
- Collaborate with the Strategic Finance team on budget data and margin reporting.
- Ensure that all inventory, margin and expense reporting requirements are satisfied
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, expense reviews, inventory counts, etc.
- Perform Inventory standard cost review and work closely with Operations to justify standard cost changes, and provide impact analysis for review and approval.
- Partner with the Operations and Strategic Finance teams on inventory costing processes, inputs, new products, and reserves
- Be a key contributory in all projects relating to expense tagging and budget tracking
- Maintain Inventory data master and assist in roll-out of new inventory items
- Support the expense team with data driven projects and analytics
Requirements
- BA/BBA/BS in Accounting, Finance or business-related field, CPA a plus
- At least 4+ years experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to focus, complete tasks accurately and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
