Electronic Technician
Key Role:
Serve as an Electronic Technician, conducting the assembly and fabrication of electrical, electronic, or mechanical components, systems, or equipment. Perform tasks, including the operations of mechanical machinery, calibration equipment, power tools, and electronic tooling. Apply industry and organizational knowledge to programs and projects. Leverage standard policies, procedures, and practical application of the general and technical aspects of the job to complete assignments. Work under general supervision. Perform routine work requiring no instruction, with general instructions given for new assignments.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as an Electronic Technician
5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or prototyping environment
5+ years of experience in soldering
Experience building or prototyping systems for Government contracts
Experience with electronic assembly fabrication, including wiring harnesses, electronic circuit boards, and integration of electronic components
Ability to analyze engineering drawings to determine the electronic fabrication requirements and layout of electronic assemblies
Ability to work independently and coordinate with clients and engineers
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Associate’s degree in Electronics
Additional Qualifications:
Knowledge of the design of electronic systems and components
Knowledge of 5S and Lean Manufacturing methods
J-STD or IPC 610/620 Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $47,000.00 to $96,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
