Australia's most trusted brand wins for third straight year. Roy Morgan has crowned its 2026 trust leader, while eight brands extended unbeaten category runs dating back to 2019. By Tom Gosby Published Sep 3, 2026 Bunnings has held onto Australia's trust crown, taking out Roy Morgan's 'Best of the Best' Most Trusted Brand award for a third consecutive year. The hardware retailer also extended its unbeaten run as Retail Brand of the Year to eight years, having won the category every year since the Trusted Brand Awards began in 2019. Roy Morgan recognised 22 category winners for 2026, with 19 retaining their titles from last year. Bunnings extends its winning streak. Bunnings has remained among Australia's top three most trusted brands throughout the past eight years. Roy Morgan said Australians cited its prices, staff, product quality, customer focus and range among the reasons they trusted the retailer. Roy Morgan chief executive Michele Levine said: "There are several standouts for the year and once again the 'Best of the Best Most Trusted Brand' has been awarded to Bunnings - a third straight victory for the hardware retailer." "Just as impressively, Bunnings has an unblemished record with eight straight victories as the 'Most Trusted Retail Brand of the Year' (2019-2026) - an outstanding result amidst a challenging economic environment." The leading media trade publication in Australia. Eight brands remain unbeaten since 2019. Bunnings is one of eight brands to win its category in every year of the awards. Kmart, Toyota, Australia Post, Samsung, NRMA, CSL and the ABC have also recorded eight consecutive category victories. ALDI has now been named Supermarket of the Year for three years running. The Salvation Army, CSIRO and HBF returned to the winners' circle after previously holding their respective titles. The Salvation Army was named Charity of the Year for the first time since 2023. CSIRO reclaimed Government Services Brand of the Year after last winning in 2024, while HBF returned as Private Health Insurance Brand of the Year after a previous win in 2023. The 2026 awards cover the 12 months to June and are based on Roy Morgan's Risk Monitor. The ongoing survey conducts approximately 1,500 to 2,000 interviews each month and measures trust and distrust across more than 1,000 brands in 27 industry sectors. Respondents are asked, without prompting, which brands and companies they trust or distrust and why. Winners are determined by their levels of trust and distrust, producing Roy Morgan's 'Net Trust' measure. Levine said maintaining trust remained an important factor for major Australian brands: "The Roy Morgan Trusted Brand Awards show that building and maintaining high levels of trust - and importantly preventing distrust - is a key ingredient in the success of many of Australia's most prominent brands."
Grafico and Bunnings launch new DIY SAV film range. 4 September 2026 A peel-and-stick film solution from Melbourne-based creative design studio Grafico - that The Block viewers have repeatedly seen transform clear glass into a fluted/reeded look popularised in high-end architecture and interiors - is now going to be available through Bunnings stores nationwide in a new take-home tube format. Available for a limited time only, timed to align with the product's feature role in the latest series of The Block - this time in Mt Eliza - Grafico Founder and CEO, Damian Corney and his team, have had to pull out all the stops to get the product packaged and ready in time for this huge national opportunity. Corney says: "The timeline came together fast. After pitching the take-home tube concept to Bunnings earlier this year, in the end we had weeks, not months to design new retail packaging, finalise production and get stock into stores in time for this September deadline, which was aligned with the film's continued feature role throughout The Block 2026." Previously, Grafico has sold the film by the metre to a loyal following online, as its' popularity has gone viral across social media as a cult favourite of take-home DIYers who follow The Block. This Bunnings launch marks the first time the product will be available nationally, in a ready-to-go, DIY-friendly tube format on shelves across Bunnings, perfectly packaged for those last minute weekend DIY projects. The product and packaging design itself was completed in Grafico's Melbourne studio, but to meet the hugely accelerated Bunnings distribution timelines - a process that would normally take 3 months crammed into as many weeks! - Corney himself flew to the company's subsidiary film manufacturing factory in Guangzhou, China, to oversee the operation and drive the logistics. Also having to navigate a terrible typhoon season in China, Corney adds: "I was on a plane to our factory within weeks of getting the green light, because there wasn't another way to hit September. But after working on The Block for 12 years, we have learnt to thrive on these sorts of tight, demanding deadlines and this was obviously not an opportunity to be missed." The take-home, fluted-glass film will be available in Grafico's signature clear colour - with the potential for other colours to follow - packaged in tubes containing metre-length rolls in a set size of 1.2 x 2.2m piece, ready-to-install format designed for DIY application. Grafico currently offers a smoked and tea/amber colour on their website too. Corney, clutching a set of freshly minted awards from September's biennial ASGA Gala Awards dinner, notes: "The product dimensions allow customers to complete popular projects such as covering a full glass door or even a shower screen. You can also join the sheets of film to cover larger windows if required." "Remember, this is a limited drop and sure to sell out fast, so we urge all DIYers to check out stocks at your local Bunnings store via bunnings.com today."
Bunnings partners with TAXIBOX on moving & storage. Fri, 4th Sep 2026 (Today) TAXIBOX has partnered with Bunnings to offer moving and storage services through the retailer's Move with Bunnings platform, giving customers access to a dedicated TAXIBOX booking portal. The service will be available on the Bunnings website and will cover TAXIBOX's mobile storage, local and interstate moving services, and on-site storage for commercial users. The partnership expands Bunnings' existing moving and hire offer for household and business customers. TAXIBOX says its network reaches about 80 per cent of Bunnings' customer base. It operates in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane and the Gold Coast, as well as selected regional areas, and says it reaches about 80 per cent of Australia's population. The tie-up adds storage and transport options for Bunnings customers undertaking home moves, renovations and building work. It also broadens TAXIBOX's access to a larger retail audience as it pushes further into moving services beyond its original mobile storage model. Founded in 2010, TAXIBOX says it has served more than 250,000 Australians and expanded its fleet to more than 10,000 units. The company has been building its interstate moving business, which allows customers to pack items into a storage unit and have the contents transported without hiring a truck themselves. That interstate business has recorded about 30 per cent year-on-year growth since launching about five years ago, according to the company. It identified Sydney to Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast as key routes. Broadening offer The agreement also reflects a broader shift in TAXIBOX's customer mix. Commercial users, including builders, trades, insurers and retirement living providers, now account for about 10 to 15 per cent of the company's business, and that share is still rising. Bunnings is one of Australia's largest retail groups in the home improvement and trade market, with a network of warehouse stores, smaller-format stores, trade centres and frame and truss sites, as well as Tool Kit Depot and Beaumont Tiles. Adding storage and transport gives it another service category linked to renovation and relocation spending. Ben Cohn, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of TAXIBOX, said the deal marked an important point in the company's national growth. "Bunnings is already such an iconic and trusted partner for so many Australians as they go through life changing events, whether it's renovating, building or moving homes. These are often difficult times in a person's life and it's so important that we simplify their experience and deliver moments of joy. Bringing TAXIBOX into this journey feels incredibly natural to us," Cohn said. He said the partnership also reflected the company's broader repositioning. "We've grown from disrupting the traditional storage model to helping Australians solve a much broader moving and storage problem. Partnering with a brand of Bunnings' scale and reputation is a significant step for us," Cohn said. Customer demand The arrangement comes as moving and renovation services increasingly overlap, with customers often needing temporary storage while completing building work or relocating between properties. For retailers tied to housing activity, ancillary services can help capture spending beyond tools, hardware and materials. Ryan Baker, Chief Operating Officer of Bunnings, said the retailer saw the service as a practical addition for customers. "We know moving can be a big job, and we want to make the process as simple and convenient as possible for our customers. TAXIBOX's national reach, flexibility and strong customer focus make them a natural fit for Bunnings and complement our existing moving and hire offer. Whether customers are moving locally, interstate or simply need some extra space during a renovation, it's a fantastic practical option to help make the job that little bit easier," Baker said. TAXIBOX says the partnership is part of its continued national expansion in moving and storage. Since its founding, the business has recorded double-digit annual revenue growth as it expanded beyond its original mobile storage service. Cohn said the offer was designed to reduce the burden on households during a move. "Moving house is already a big undertaking, and moving can add hours or days behind the wheel of a hired truck. TAXIBOX gives people the flexibility to pack at their own pace while we take care of getting their belongings from A to B, with optional storage in between moves if required," he said.
Bunnings strengthens supply chain as revenue reaches $20.4 billion. Reading Time: 2 mins read Bunnings has continued investing in freight, fulfilment, last-mile delivery and automation as the retailer works to improve inventory flow and product availability across its expanding store network. The investments supported a strong result for the 2026 financial year, with Bunnings reporting revenue of $20.4 billion, an increase of 4.1 per cent. Earnings rose 5.1 per cent to $2.46 billion, while total store sales increased four per cent. The company says its supply chain capability evolved through targeted investments in inbound freight, fulfilment, last-mile delivery and automation. According to Bunnings, the initiatives simplified store replenishment, improved inventory flow and strengthened product availability across its retail and commercial channels. Commercial sales grew across all customer segments during the year. The company says this growth was supported by faster fulfilment, specialist services and targeted capability investment. Bunnings also continued developing its omnichannel operations through investment in digital technology, data and artificial intelligence. The company says digital sales grew across all channels, while new capabilities improved customer personalisation, enabled faster commercial quoting and strengthened merchandising decisions. Bunnings also invested in store technologies including electronic shelf labels, rostering tools and AI-enabled workflows. The company says these measures simplified operations, improved team productivity and enabled faster decision-making. Investment continued across the physical store network, with Bunnings improving layouts to showcase new and expanded ranges, enhance the customer experience and increase sales density. At the end of the financial year, the Bunnings network comprised 288 warehouse stores, 65 smaller-format stores and 26 trade centres. Bunnings Group also included 110 Beaumont Tiles stores and 17 Tool Kit Depot locations. The company says it will continue investing in its supply chain, store network, technology, data, AI and marketplace capabilities as part of its longer-term growth strategy. The integration of Blackwoods and Workwear Group into Bunnings Group from 1 July 2026 is expected to strengthen its commercial customer proposition and support further growth among small and medium-sized enterprises. While residential construction activity is expected to remain subdued in the short term, Bunnings says Australia's housing undersupply and population growth are expected to support increased building activity over the medium term. Bunnings box bears: Hardware giant sparks social media frenzy over blind mystery boxes. Bunnings has sparked a social media frenzy around its collectibles range, which include blind mystery boxes featuring miniature bears, as well as mini toolkits and buckets. The hardware giant did the heavy lifting for its parent Wesfarmers, bringing in $20.4 billion of the group's total full-year revenue of $47.3b as demand across home improvement, repairs and maintenance lifted sales. But the real star of the show was Bunnings' $9.50 mini bears, a range of plushie key chains sold in a blind-box format, just like the viral Labubu. "(The blind boxes are) a great example of the breadth and diversity of the Bunnings offer," Wesfarmers chief executive Rob Scott said. "It also shows that the product range is continuing to evolve to meet all age groups. A lot of kids, a lot of families love going to Bunnings. "It's often part of the weekend ritual to take the family to Bunnings and having products like this that appeal appeal to families, appeal to kids, and even some adults is fantastic." Bunnings has also released other mini items in the past, including the viral mini bucket and a mini toolbox to help organise smaller items in customers' workshop.
