  • 8-10 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge in accounting for fixed income securities and loans
  • Knowledge of SEC reporting for investments
  • Insurance company Investment GAAP and Statutory reporting a plus
  • Pro-active, detail oriented, deadline driven; possess excellent documentation and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to successfully handle close processes, competing priorities and multiple deliverables
  • Responsible for the preparation of Global Atlantic’s Subsidiaries investment disclosures and management reporting for audited financials
  • Assist with the review of GAAP 10Q/ K investment disclosures, including reconciliation to the corporate ledger and management reporting
  • Preparation of quarterly management reporting
  • Prepare analysis for quarterly closing procedures, including analytical reviews of income statement and balance sheet to support the accuracy of financial statements
  • Coordination of timelines and tracking deliverables for quarterly close process to ensure adherence to quarterly timelines within Investment Accounting
  • Collaborate with external auditors to resolve audit inquiries and fulfill audit requests on a timely manner
  • Perform control functions in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404
  • Perform frequent ad hoc analysis and assist with special projects, as requested
