Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
At least 7 years’ experience in managing corporate accounting.
Knowledge and experience in accounting for manufacturing/production processes is a significant advantage.
Familiarity with ERP software, accounting software, human resources software, and other financial tools.

Responsibilities

Preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, etc.) for both internal and external use.
Managing and controlling all accounting and bookkeeping activities including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax compliance.
Developing and managing the company's budget, forecasting future financial performance, monitoring cash flow, and recommending financial benchmarks.
Ensuring the company adheres to all relevant financial regulations, laws, and accounting standards.
Implementing and overseeing internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
Reporting financial information to the CEO, CFO, senior management, and other stakeholders.
Overseeing the day-to-day accounting operation and staff and ensuring efficient workflow within the accounting department.

Desired Qualifications

A master’s degree and CPA (Certified Public Accountant) are preferable.

Salary Range: 125000 to 150000 (Currency: USD) (Pay period: per-year-salary)

CONTROLLER

Latitude is seeking a senior financial executive who oversees a company's accounting operations and financial reporting. The selected Controller will lead the accounting operation and be responsible for managing the company's accounting records, financial statements, and compliance with financial regulations. This is a full-time, on-site position at our Bethesda, MD headquarters.

In addition, the Controller will be part of the Company compliance team.

Pay: $125-145k +

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Financial Reporting:

·Preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, etc.) for both internal and external use.

Accounting Operations:

·Managing and controlling all accounting and bookkeeping activities including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax compliance.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

·Developing and managing the company's budget, forecasting future financial performance, monitoring cash flow, and recommending financial benchmarks.

Compliance

·Ensuring the company adheres to all relevant financial regulations, laws, and accounting standards.

Internal Controls:

·Implementing and overseeing internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.

Stakeholder Communication:

·Reporting financial information to the CEO, CFO, senior management, and other stakeholders.

Team Management:

·Overseeing the day-to-day accounting operation and staff and ensuring efficient workflow within the accounting department.

Reporting:

·The selected Controller will report to the CFO and the CEO, And to the Head of the financial department.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
