Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree is required; Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education including construction management responsibilities, commercial construction internships, project administration and document management, sustainability or quality control and compliance, or other construction-related duties requiring working knowledge of different building systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and the full suite of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proficiency with document control and revision software; Bluebeam is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of 3D design software programs; Autodesk Building Design Suite is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with planning, project coordination, and documentation of project activities for one or more construction projects.
  • Coordinate activities and technical documentation for subcontracted and self-performed scopes.
  • Review submittals and drawings to keep work aligned with plans, specifications, and schedule.
  • Maintain organized and accurate project documentation, logs, and record drawings.
  • Communicate contract changes and clarifications across project partners.
  • Support change order review, material verification, and procurement.
  • Track productivity and develop scope and cost fluency.
  • Coordinate subcontractor schedules and deliveries.
  • Assist with quality assurance and quality control inspections and support Indoor Air Quality and Waste Management programs.
  • Coordinate project closeout, including punch lists and owner turnover.
  • Participate in project meetings, safety walks, and Pull Planning sessions.
  • Take meeting minutes and assist with resolving open issues by coordinating and communicating technical information between teams.
  • Support Sellen's Corporate Safety Program and maintain jobsite safety documentation as needed.
  • Provide guidance, direction, and coaching to project team members.
  • Coordinate work on multiple facets of a project using a proactive approach.
Desired Qualifications
  • Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with Bluebeam document control and revision software.
  • Experience with Autodesk Building Design Suite 3D design software.
