  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must live within commutable distance to the office in Lafayette, Louisiana; this is an in-person position.
  • Must be flexible with the schedule and work in-office as required by a standard workplace schedule.
  • Must submit an electronic or online portfolio with graphic design examples.
  • Must have an accredited four-year degree or technical college equivalent in an applicable field of study and four years of work-related experience.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
  • Must be technically proficient in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office.
  • Must be able to learn and apply knowledge of DCS products and services.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
  • Must be able to organize, expedite, and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to create brochures, presentations, social media posts, website updates, press releases, and other high-quality content aligned with company branding and messaging.
  • Coordinate, develop, and execute external marketing campaigns and initiatives across digital and print channels.
  • Develop ideas to keep content fresh, engaging, and dynamic.
  • Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and provide regular reports on performance and key metrics.
  • Adapt designs to align with business needs, budget, and brand requirements.
  • Ensure all marketing initiatives align with DCS brand guidelines and positioning.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support successful operations and business continuity.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or associate's degree in graphic design or an equivalent field with four years of experience, or a minimum of eight years of industry experience without a degree.
  • Proficiency in the full Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat, as well as Microsoft PowerPoint and Word in a Windows environment.
  • Experience with Claude AI.
  • Experience in multimedia design for web and social media, video production, and video editing.
  • Ability to organize, set up, and operate an onsite live photo/video shoot in a fireside-chat format; experience with lighting and audio is a plus.
  • Resourcefulness in finding fit-for-purpose solutions and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with meticulous attention to detail and a sense of ownership.
  • Professional interaction with management in a deadline-driven environment.
