Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience with hands-on ownership of clients or deal relationships.
  • Strong external presence with the judgment to represent the CEO and the company externally.
  • Sound judgment in high-stakes interactions with clients and partners.
  • Comfort operating with significant ambiguity and shifting priorities.
  • A track record of driving deals forward independently end to end.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and a bias toward action.
  • A high-ownership mindset, with the ability to be proactive, resourceful, and work with minimal direction.
  • Experience as an enterprise account executive or sales manager with unusually strong structure and follow-through, experience in a similar extension-of-the-executive role at a growth-stage company, or experience as a senior consultant or deal-team professional with real relationship ownership.
Responsibilities
  • Drive WithCoverage's growth engine forward as quickly and efficiently as possible.
  • Directly own enterprise deals and VIP relationships.
  • Own the CEO's active pipeline end to end, including all follow-ups and next steps.
  • Join top-of-funnel and key discovery calls and own the next steps.
  • Drive urgency and coordinate the broader team on deals where the CEO is personally involved.
  • Take on an increasing amount of deal ownership over time, with the explicit goal of eliminating the CEO's ownership of growth deals.
  • Manage the client and partner relationships with which the CEO interacts daily.
  • Spend approximately two thirds of the time closing the biggest deals and one third on key growth initiatives.

Coverage.com is an online insurance comparison marketplace that helps consumers shop for auto, home, condo, and renters coverage rather than underwriting policies itself. Visitors answer a few questions about their needs and receive tailored options from a range of partner insurance carriers, and can schedule consultations with licensed agents to complete a purchase. A Red Ventures company, it earns revenue through advertising and affiliate compensation from the insurers it features, which can influence how products are displayed. What sets Coverage.com apart is its role as an independent comparison platform that presents multiple carriers side by side, pairing self-service quoting tools with access to agents rather than selling a single company's products. The goal is to make buying insurance simpler and more transparent by helping shoppers weigh options and find coverage suited to their situation.

What critics are saying

  • Coverage.com depends on carrier partnerships; insurers can route shoppers directly and cut out the middleman.

  • Red Ventures can reallocate capital away from Coverage.com if insurance margins compress.

What makes Coverage.com unique
