Requirements
  • The candidate must have 5 or more years of progressively responsible experience in the electrical or integrated construction industry, concentrated in large commercial construction projects or programs.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous work as a Licensed Electrician or Supervisor is a plus.
  • The candidate must be able to prepare, manage, and accurately update production schedules using Microsoft Project.
  • The candidate must have prior knowledge and understanding of the estimating process.
  • Exposure to ACCUBID or ConEst is a plus.
  • The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel, and familiar with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
  • Strong customer service skills are required.
  • The candidate must be willing to travel to develop vendor relationships and conduct incremental factory inspections as required.
Responsibilities
  • Train, manage, and evaluate production team members.
  • Assist the Project Manager in preparing and updating production schedules.
  • Create and maintain daily reports, timesheets, safety reports, and accident reports.
  • Coordinate and monitor installation progress.
  • Plan, organize, and direct production in accordance with the contracted scope of work or executed purchase order agreement.
  • Oversee implementation and compliance with quality assurance and quality control programs.
  • Coordinate work with Project Management, Purchasing, and Logistics teams to ensure requested materials are expedited and received as needed for product construction.
  • Ensure all installations meet quality and electrical code standards.
  • Review submittals, budgets, schedules, and other aspects necessary for a successful product order or program.
  • Maintain and foster contacts with consultants, contractors, vendors, and material suppliers.
  • Interface with internal clients, including Integrated Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Safety, and Quality teams, to facilitate interdepartmental relations and program goals.
  • Ensure component layouts and bill of material takeoffs comply with constructability and operability needs.
  • Act as a subject matter expert regarding electrical installation activities.
  • Participate in engineering, design, and production review processes as requested by the Project Manager.
  • Interpret plans, specifications, drawings, and documents related to the engineering and construction of the program or product order.
  • Report to the Project Manager.
