- Completion of an accredited radiography program (JRCERT) for Interventional Radiology
- Graduate of Cardiovascular Technologist program, associate degree in cardiovascular technology/basic science, Paramedic license, Exercise Physiologist, or equivalent training and/or education for Cath Lab/EP Lab
- Clinical experience required through graduation of one of the above listed programs
- 1 year of experience in EP, Cath Lab or IR is required
- BLS certification and active RT status upon hire for IR, RT-CV or VI within 2 years of hire
- BLS upon hire and ACLS within time frame identified by each individual site with a maximum of 6 months for Cath Lab
- Registered RCES/RCIS/RT certification, and IABP certification for Cath Lab
- BLS upon hire and ACLS within time frame identified by each individual site with a maximum of 6 months for EP Lab
- Registered RCIS/RCES for EP Lab
- Provide direct care pre, intra, and post for patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures
- Assist physicians and deliver quality patient/family centered care
- Perform IV starts
- Prep patients
- Monitor hemodynamics
- Operate equipment
- Document procedures
- Manage vascular access site
- Provide patient/family education
