Tock is looking for a multi-faceted Sales Training Manager to design and implement educational programs for our growing sales team.
You will be a necessary contributor to the success of Tock’s quota-carrying employees, with involvement ranging from new hire training to active deal review and coaching. As a member of Tock’s growing sales organization, you’ll be part of a dynamic group, training sales reps working with some of the world’s best Chefs, accomplished entrepreneurs, and world famous restaurant owners. Areas of training will include the end-to-end sales process; lead generation, solution demoing, negotiation, and hand-off to our implementation team to ensure customer success.
This is an opportunity for you to help increase the performance of our sales team and ensure they have the skills to achieve their goals.
You will report directly to the Director of Sales and will be located in our Chicago office.
You’ll Get To…
- Prepare new sales representatives by conducting orientation to the sales process, work with the managers to develop individual coaching plans for their reps, and provide guidance to the respective teams and to the head of sales.
- Conduct training exercise sessions for new and current sales employees.
- Observe sales interactions and collect feedback, results, and performance data of trainees after sessions or customer engagements.
- Coordinate with Sales Leadership to create training materials.
- Structure training plans to meet financial goals.
- Maximize effectiveness by researching training methodologies, learning tools, platforms, and practices.
- Evaluate sales team performance to ensure training programs are successful.
- Ensure training materials stay current on product updates, launches, and important initiatives.
Who We’re Looking For
- 5+ years experience building and implementing effective sales training programs
- Previous experience in an Account Executive or Business Development role
- Proficient measuring performance and communicating results to key stakeholders
- Experience with building and developing teams
- Bachelor’s degree or significant experience in a related field
- Possession of certifications in sales training methodologies preferred
- Previous experience with Salesforce.com and a learning management system (LMS)

Cash Compensation Range: $66,000 - $142,000 USD
The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, and location, among other factors.
In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), all Tock employees are eligible to receive equity in the company as part of their total compensation.
