Requirements
  • 5+ years experience building and implementing effective sales training programs
  • Previous experience in an Account Executive or Business Development role
  • Proficient measuring performance and communicating results to key stakeholders
  • Experience with building and developing teams
  • Bachelor's degree or significant experience in a related field
  • Possession of certifications in sales training methodologies preferred
  • Previous experience with Salesforce.com and a learning management system (LMS)
Responsibilities
  • Prepare new sales representatives by conducting orientation to the sales process, work with the managers to develop individual coaching plans for their reps, and provide guidance to the respective teams and to the head of sales
  • Conduct training exercise sessions for new and current sales employees
  • Observe sales interactions and collect feedback, results, and performance data of trainees after sessions or customer engagements
  • Coordinate with Sales Leadership to create training materials
  • Structure training plans to meet financial goals
  • Maximize effectiveness by researching training methodologies, learning tools, platforms, and practices
  • Evaluate sales team performance to ensure training programs are successful
  • Ensure training materials stay current on product updates, launches, and important initiatives
