  • 4+ years of professional experience and 1+ years of experience working with Energy Storage Systems.
  • Experience working with a utility company, ISO, technology provider, developer, Independent Power Producer, EPC, or asset management company.
  • Knowledge energy storage related codes, testing, and certifications and proficiency with the Microsoft suite.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the technical and economic evaluation of energy storage technologies and product offerings, with emphasis on lithium-ion battery technology.
  • Develop reliable and cost-effective energy storage solutions in support of Nexamp’s development teams.
  • Working with Nexamp’s development teams, interface with potential customers to understand storage needs and requirements to formulate optimized storage solutions.
  • Analyze offerings of potential partners to ensure opportunities are matched with optimized solutions.
  • Manage internal tracking databases for storage applications to ensure efficient reporting to Nexamp business units, financing parties and other key partners.
  • Support procurement of energy storage systems, equipment, and software and ensure compliance to standards and required specifications.
  • Work with developers to manage regulatory and permitting requirements of projects and support interconnection, design, and construction.
  • Develop and maintain technical and safety standards for a variety of product applications and markets.
  • Interface and collaborate with Nexamp’s Business Development, Engineering, Procurement and Construction teams, Capital Markets, Operations & Maintenance, and Asset Management Services teams to ensure smooth project development and implementation.
  • Follow changes in the storage market and evaluate potential value that different offerings can bring to Nexamp projects.
