Amentum is seeking an HR Analyst II to join our team at Ft. Belvoir. This position provides contractual support to the DOD client in the manpower and human resources programs for all client locations. Manpower functions encompass manpower and organization activities, with core competencies in organization, requirements determination, program allocation and control, and performance management. In addition, this position will support the client’s civilian human resources program.
Responsibilities:
- Synthesize information from disparate sources necessary to review, edit and update numerous ongoing and future agency instructions, policies and guidance.
- Review, organize and maintain all services manning rosters to ensure consistency, currency and thoroughness of information.
- Assist in a requested manpower study with the Air Force Manpower Analysis Agency (AFMAA) to analyze all positions across the agency at all locations.
- Assist with various manpower actions and change requests through the Joint Staff and Services. Performs core competencies in organization structure, manpower requirements determination, program allocation and control, and performance management.
- Manage an in-house database system that gathers and maintains real time data on the allocation and distribution of military, civilian, and contractor assigned and authorized personnel throughout the agency.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Clearance.
- High School Diploma and five (5) years of experience associated with personnel management, administration and/or training fields.
- Working knowledge of the Joint and Service manpower Programs for determining, validating, documenting and maintaining joint manpower requirements.
- Working knowledge of the Air Force civilian and Service military personnel systems and basic understanding of PAS codes/UICs and AFSCs/MOSs.
- Working knowledge or a liaison background in working civilian personnel programs (prefer staffing or position/classification management).
- Experience with presenting data in various formats to include MS Teams reports and Microsoft office.
- Knowledge and experience in DoD personnel training policies and directives.
- Advanced level experience with Microsoft Office applications and Adobe.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment and independently.
- Ability to effectively communication both written and orally.
Service Contract Act (SCA) Compensation & Benefits:
This is an hourly, overtime-eligible position that falls under the Service Contract Act (SCA). In accordance with the Health and Welfare provisions of the SCA, and in addition to your base hourly rate, you may be eligible to receive an additional health and welfare payment for each hour you work to ensure compliance with the minimums set forth by the act. The amount you are entitled to receive will vary depending upon the fringe benefits you select now and in the future.
