Berry Street connects individuals with board-certified dietitians through an online directory, helping clients find personalized dietary care that fits their needs. The platform enables users to search and filter dietitians and supports practice owners by providing large-scale credentialing, referrals, and administrative help. It works by pairing clients with suitable dietitians, handling billing and insurance logistics to keep services affordable and in-network for many plans. Unlike other directories, Berry Street combines evidence-based nutrition care with compassionate, collaborative support, backed by partnerships with insurers and healthcare providers. The goal is to make high-quality dietary care more accessible and easier for dietitians to grow their practices while reducing administrative burden for all parties.

Berry Street adds SOC 2 Type II to its compliance program as payer and enterprise partnerships expand. Aug 20, 2026, 14:29 ET Independent third-party audit validates the company's controls for security, availability, and confidentiality as it scales nutrition therapy across all 50 states NEW YORK, Aug. 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - Berry Street, the nutrition therapy platform connecting patients to insurance-covered care from Registered Dietitians, today announced it has achieved SOC 2 Type II certification, meeting a key security requirement for the health plans, health systems, and enterprise partners it serves. Conducted by Johanson Group LLP, an independent third-party auditing firm, the SOC 2 Type II report evaluates the design and sustained operating effectiveness of a company's controls over a defined observation period against the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Trust Services Criteria. Berry Street's examination covered the Security trust services criteria over a three-month period ending June 2026, and was completed with no exceptions noted. The milestone arrives as Berry Street expands its work with health plans, health systems, and enterprise partners serving patients nationwide. Nutrition therapy sits at the intersection of clinical care and personal data - spanning diagnoses, lab values, medications, and daily behavioral detail - and the certification gives the company's partners independently verified assurance that this information is handled to a rigorous, continuously audited standard. "Nutrition care only works when people feel safe being honest about their health," said Noah Kotlove, Co-Founder and CEO of Berry Street. "Our patients share some of the most personal information there is, and our partners trust us with the populations they're responsible for. SOC 2 Type II is how we prove that trust is well placed - not with a promise, but with an independent audit of how we actually operate every day. We hold ourselves to that standard because the people we serve deserve it." SOC 2 Type II complements Berry Street's existing compliance program, including HIPAA compliance, encryption of data in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, continuous security monitoring, and annual penetration testing. The company will maintain its certification through recurring annual audits. Berry Street's SOC 2 Type II report is available to current and prospective partners under NDA. Berry Street partners with Tia to expand women's nutrition care. The collaboration will give members access to specialized nutrition therapy, personalized care plans and AI-enabled support for women's health. Metabolic health company Berry Street is partnering with hybrid women's healthcare company Tia to connect Tia members with clinical nutrition therapy to help women during perimenopause and menopause. Berry Street connects individuals to registered dietitians for nutrition therapy, while Tia offers virtual and in-person care for women's health needs, including primary and gynecological care and wellness services. Tia also offers mental health assessments during primary care visits and nutritional counseling services through a partnership it announced last year with the virtual counseling platform Nourish. Through the partnership, Tia members will have access to Berry Street's network of Registered Dietitians, the majority of whom specialize in women's health. Members will receive a personalized care plan and AI-enabled support between visits. Meal tracking and integration of health data from wearables and lab results are also part of the offering. Berry Street's nutrition therapy can address fertility, lactation support, hormonal health, prenatal and postnatal nutrition, eating disorders, weight management, thyroid conditions and PCOS. "Many women come to Tia looking for answers to symptoms that don't fit neatly into a single specialty, especially during midlife when hormonal changes can affect everything from energy and sleep to weight, mood, and metabolic health," Felicity Yost, cofounder and CEO of Tia, said in a statement. "Nutrition is often an important part of the picture, but it's rarely integrated into care in a meaningful way. Through this partnership with Berry Street, we're making it easier for women to access specialized nutrition support that's connected to the rest of their healthcare journey." THE LARGER TREND In April, Berry Street became part of retail giant Walmart's Better Care Services platform alongside digital health companies Twin Health, Curai Health, Wheel and Aaptiv, with the aim of improving access to weight-management support, including GLP-1s. That same month, Berry Street was added to Amazon's Health Benefits Connector, which matches Amazon customers to digital health tools covered by employers. Last year, Berry Street garnered $50 million in funding from Northzone, the founder of Revolut, Sofina, FJ Labs, the cofounder of Spring Health, the cofounder of Grow Therapy and the CEO of Found, amongst others. Meanwhile, Tia has formed partnerships with fellow digital health companies, including nutritional counseling platform Nourish and mental health platform Talkspace. In March 2023, Tia raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Pivotal Ventures, the investment and incubation company founded by Melinda French Gates, which brought the company's total raise to $150 million. That same year, the company announced an extended partnership with the Los Angeles-based health system Cedars-Sinai. Through the collaboration, Tia opened its second Los Angeles clinic in Santa Monica, with plans to open additional clinics in Pasadena, Culver City and Studio City this year.

Berry Street partners with Factor, bringing personalized nutrition therapy to leading meal delivery service. Clinically Reviewed By: May 13, 2026 On this page Factor's expansive customer base can now work with expert Registered Dietitians who see their actual meal choices, turning every session into targeted recommendations. NEW YORK, May 13, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - Berry Street, the leading metabolic health company transforming nutrition therapy, and Factor, America's leading ready-to-heat meal delivery service, today announced a new partnership to provide personalized nutrition therapy tailored to what customers are eating. The partnership combines Berry Street's clinical nutrition care model with Factor's weekly meal platform, helping customers translate dietitian guidance into meals they can actually incorporate into daily life. Through the partnership, Factor customers can share their meal selections with one of Berry Street's network of 1,800+ expert Registered Dietitians (RDs), allowing sessions to start from a real view of their eating habits and nutrition goals, whether that be weight loss, managing a chronic condition, or improving overall wellness. Factor's offerings already provide support for healthy routines by delivering fresh, dietitian-approved meals that are gourmet-chef-crafted and optimized for various dietary needs, including High Protein, Fiber-Filled, GLP-1 Support, and Calorie Smart options. With this new collaboration, a customer's RD will have access to data on each meal they select, meaning that every appointment begins with informed conversations based on what the customer has in their fridge. During the sessions, their RD will help them select their next meal based on their specific health goals, and customers receive evidence-backed clinical guidance for fully utilizing Factor's nutrient-dense, never-frozen meals. "Every meal is a health decision, and most people are making those decisions blind," said Noah Kotlove, Founder and CEO of Berry Street. "Factor takes the guesswork out of what to eat, and now that customers have access to Berry Street's dietitians who already know their meals and their goals, the advice is personalized from the very first conversation." Berry Street brings together advanced AI with a network of RDs to deliver personalized, evidence-based nutrition therapy. In most cases, it's covered by insurance so people pay little or nothing out of pocket. Customers work one-on-one with an RD and use the Berry Street app between visits for AI-powered guidance, meal tracking, and health data syncing with wearables and lab results. Berry Street supports over 30 conditions with personalized nutrition care programs, from weight loss and diabetes to GLP-1 management, heart health, and more. "We've always believed that eating well shouldn't require a degree in nutrition," said Adam Park, CEO of Factor US. "This partnership with Berry Street closes the last gap. Not just giving customers great meals, but pairing those meals with expert guidance that's already grounded in what they're actually eating. That's what turns a good week of food into lasting change."
