Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Risk/Underwriting Operations or Fraud Management; including familiarity with UCC search, filing and best practices
- Experience within invoice factoring, consumer/corporate/small business cards, payments, lending, or related industries
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able serve as an advocate for compliance and work with team members at all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and good judgment
- Knowledge of Google Sheets and/or Excel
Responsibilities
- Leverage external and internal performance data to develop best-in-class underwriting policies (e.g., identity/first-party fraud, KYC/B, etc.) used to onboard new customers for factoring
- Partner with product and engineering to build best in class risk tooling to increase operations efficiency
- Research emerging underwriting and fraud trends across the logistics industry to inform decisioning systems and policies
- Maintain and uphold the policies and procedures for factoring
- Prepare key documentation and filings for new customer onboards, and regularly lead audit processes to ensure compliance across active factoring customers
- Serve as key point of contact and decision maker for all new customer onboarding for the sales organization
