Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in data center networking environments for a medium to large enterprise
  • 2+ years of experience with configuration and support of routing protocols, including BGP, EIGRP, or OSPF
  • 1+ years of experience with F5 LTM, APM, AFM, or Big IQ
  • Experience with multi-vendor network environments
  • Experience with network monitoring and logging systems
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Experience with network automation tools, including Ansible or Python
  • Knowledge of data center technologies, including virtualization, cloud IaaS, including Azure or AWS, firewall, and security technologies
  • F5 instructor-led Training or Certification
  • Cisco CCNA Certification
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a member of the Network Operations and Engineering team focusing on F5 administration, support, and configuration.
  • Perform all change requests for the F5 team.
  • Escalate to senior F5 engineers for guidance as needed.
  • Document repeatable processes and assist in automation and delegation to tier 1 resources, where possible.
