Requirements
  • Excellent engagement and partnership skills.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding for children, young people and adults.
  • Expertise and experience working with young individuals, including young people who engage in substance use.
  • A deep understanding of present-day challenges encountered by young adults.
  • Empathy and understanding towards issues related to drug and alcohol use.
  • Experience fostering strong collaborations with internal and external partners.
  • Proficiency in delivering training across diverse audiences and settings.
Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of young adults using alcohol and/or drugs across Sefton.
  • Conduct assessments and care planning, and deliver one-to-one psychosocial and digital interventions.
  • Facilitate group work, outreach, and community events.
  • Provide harm reduction advice and brief interventions.
  • Work in partnership with agencies and attend safeguarding meetings.
  • Deliver training.
