About the Role
As a Treasury Analyst at Nium, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our financial assets within the dynamic fintech and payments industry. Your expertise in cash flow management, liquidity analysis, and financial risk mitigation will ensure that we maintain a strong financial position while supporting our rapid growth. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies that maximize efficiency and drive innovation in our treasury operations. Key Responsibilities
- Optimize asset allocation structure to ensure sufficient liquidity and enhance profitability.
- Safeguard clients’ assets across all UK and EU entities, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
- Perform and manage foreign exchange (FX) operations for clients, with a strong focus on PnL optimization.
- Monitor and manage cash flow to maintain financial stability and liquidity.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant UK and EU regulations, as well as internal company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in treasury management within the fintech industry.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, particularly in relation to foreign exchange (FX) operations.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving skills skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Experience with financial modelling and forecasting (proficiency in SQL, Python, and Excel is a huge plus)
- Familiarity with UK and EU financial regulations and compliance requirements
