Requirements
  • University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or similar discipline
  • 10+ years of experience in CPG with sales, sales planning, category/trade marketing
  • Strong understanding of the CPG industry, retail channels, and account-specific marketing
  • Experience with trade marketing and trade spending
  • Leadership experience managing and coaching others
  • Excellent communicator
  • Strong analytics background and comfortable working with data
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience in the organic/health food industry is a plus
  • Bilingual in English & French is an asset
Responsibilities
  • Lead sales strategy for the Canadian business
  • Lead Annual Operating Plan process and develop cross-functional Annual Planning materials
  • Assess risks and opportunities in the Canadian market
  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities
  • Develop customer plans and drive strong retail execution
  • Create category stories and new item stories with a customer lens
  • Develop and refine processes to drive simplicity and consistency
  • Coordinate and oversee forecast calls and S&OP reviews
  • Work with the US team to share best practices
  • Create and maintain a high-performance team through collaboration, engagement, and a welcoming atmosphere
