- Accurately process transactions and adhere to Avadian’s operations and protocols.
- Cultivate member relationships, use retail strategies and Avadian’s Preferred Way of Selling to develop sales leads, and provide needs-based solutions using Avadian’s financial products and services.
- Adhere to action plans, goals and objectives, secret shops, corporate initiatives, and training opportunities.
- Explain consumer, mortgage, and business loan products; profile member needs; and recommend loan options.
- Support member retention and relationship expansion through regular contact with existing and potential members.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of Avadian’s products, services, features, benefits, processes, guidelines, and procedures.
- Maintain knowledge of Avadian’s client relationship management system, including referrals, sales and contact events, phone logs, extended information, and reports.
- Request, evaluate, and interpret credit information from Credit Bureau reports to ensure compliance with Avadian guidelines and federal regulations.
- Explain denial reasons and explore options for members when accounts are denied.
- Understand the consumer loan process and guidelines and maintain a complete understanding of individual retirement accounts.
- Balance the branch vault, cash deposit machine, and ITC as necessary.
- Fill in at other branches as needed.
- Maintain prompt and regular attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bilingual Spanish language skills.

The treasury management tools help businesses optimize their cash flow, enhance security and save time March 31, 2026 Avadian Credit Union recently introduced new treasury management tools for small businesses. "We believe we now offer the most complete treasury management suite available from a credit union in the state," said Alex Bumpers, Avadian's vice president of commercial and business services. "These services show that credit unions like Avadian can deliver sophisticated financial tools while still providing the personal service small business members value." Launched in coordination with Avadian's new Commercial Analysis Checking account, these treasury management tools help businesses optimize their cash flow with ACH Origination, enhance security with Positive Pay, and save time with Wire Transfers and Enhanced Remote Deposit. These resources are all initiated within Avadian's online and mobile banking platform, eliminating the need to visit a branch, saving business members valuable time. The Avadian Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Avadian Credit Union, recently awarded $50,000 in grants to five organizations across Alabama. Each organization - Junior Achievement of Alabama, Teach For America Alabama, Literacy Council Central Alabama, Woolley Institute for Spoken-Language Education and Woodlawn United - received $10,000. The latest round of funding brings the foundation's total grant giving to nearly $140,000. The supported organizations align with the foundation's focus areas of affordable housing, financial education, small business development and education.
