General Purpose of the LPN is to:

Under new administration and nursing leadership, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team either 7A-7P or 7P-7A.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the facility.
- Carry out directives as required by the Director of Nursing Services or Nurse Supervisor.
- Always maintain the highest degree of quality care.
Note: Additional duties may be assigned as needed. Omission of specific tasks does not exclude them if the work is similar, related, or an essential function of the position.
Administrative Functions
- Ensure accurate charting and documentation.
- Oversee drug administration processes.
Personnel Functions
- Supervise nursing assistants and provide guidance as needed.
Nursing Care Functions
- Deliver direct nursing care to residents.
Staff Development
- Participate in ongoing training and development for nursing staff.
Safety and Sanitation
- Maintain compliance with safety and sanitation protocols.
Equipment and Supply Functions
- Manage and maintain nursing equipment and supplies.
Care Plan and Assessment Functions
- Contribute to the creation and updating of resident care plans.
- Conduct assessments to ensure residents receive appropriate care.
Budget and Planning Functions
- Assist in planning and budgeting as required.
Miscellaneous
- Provide data to the Quality Assurance & Assessment Committee as requested.
Delegation of Authority
As an LPN, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
- Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or completion of an approved LPN/LVN program.
- Current, active, and unencumbered LPN license in the state of Missouri.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations
- Current, active, and unencumbered LPN license in Missouri.
- Current CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience with PCC (PointClickCare).
- Maintenance of all required continuing education and licensing.
- Good standing with the State Board of Nursing always.
