As a Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) intern engineer at Reliable Robotics, you will work with a team of mission-driven engineers with experience across aviation, space, robotics and self-driving cars to make this future a reality. Reliable Robotics has year-round internship opportunities for students pursuing a graduate degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, robotics or a similar field of study. Successful candidates will work alongside senior engineers to design, implement and test GNC systems.
Responsibilities
- Support the design, analysis and verification of GNC components
- Help improve the simulation models for various phases of flight
- Develop tooling and Monte Carlo tests in support of navigation and control system verification
Basic Success Criteria
- Currently enrolled in a graduate program in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, robotics or equivalent practical experience
- A solid understanding of fundamentals -- engineering math, dynamics, numerical methods
- Proficient in any of C/C++/Python
- Proactive and motivated to tackle hard problems
Preferred Success Criteria
- Experience in one or more disciplines related to GNC: flight simulation, control systems analysis, sensor fusion and state estimation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

This internship opportunity is located at our corporate headquarters in Mountain View, CA. The estimated annualized salary for this position is $116,000.
