Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and/or PMP certification is preferred, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities
  • Work alongside client managers to lead project teams, develop project work plans, monitor project progress and status, and provide project-related internal and external communications to ensure high-quality deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with internal and client teams to develop project statements of work and budgets and route them through required internal reviews before client submission.
  • Initiate project initiation and maintenance procedures using internal Project Operations tools and processes.
  • Develop, track, maintain, and drive project timelines while keeping team members and clients on task, within scope, and on budget.
  • Identify and resolve project risks and issues and escalate decisions and issues effectively.
  • Manage project scope and changes and function as an escalation point to ensure impacts are communicated and approved.
  • Monitor and manage project financials and generate client billing with internal finance teams and external client financial stakeholders.
  • Ensure that all projects follow routing procedures.
  • Schedule and hold internal project kickoff meetings and status meetings, update project teams on job status, and alert teams to obstacles that may impede deadlines.
  • Schedule, manage, and participate in client status meetings; develop agendas, obtain appropriate team input, and prepare follow-up reports and action plans.
  • Learn and manage client-specific processes to ensure compliance, including Medical, Legal, and Regulatory submission processes, requirements, and portal access as needed.
  • Educate project team members on client processes and the time required to prepare job deliverables for submission to client electronic or online copy-approval systems.
  • Schedule and route job deliverable documents to appropriate internal staff for strategic review, updates, graphics enhancement, copyediting, and related activities, and track them accordingly.
  • Develop and maintain a checklist of client preferences and guidance not captured in the style guide for quality control and proofreading.
  • Maintain working relationships with team members and clients.
  • Disseminate job communications internally and externally as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project efficiency and team communication.
  • Schedule and facilitate internal team meetings to support work types and service lines as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
