DV Energy is a rapidly growing division that specializes in trading crude oil, refined products, natural gas, and related energy markets across US, Europe, and Asia. Our proprietary risk management and trading methodologies along with a strong ability to adapt to changing conditions has allowed DV Energy to grow into one of the largest financial participants within the global energy complex.

Responsibilities

Learn proprietary methodologies and trading systems within a systematic environment that support an established trading business
Build systematic strategies, conduct backtesting, and analysis using Python
Engage in both trading execution and automation development work to enhance overall trading efficiency
Enhance existing trades; identify and pursue new opportunities
Liaise between trading group and internal company departments
Further responsibilities may be driven by the individual’s interests and specific skills

Requirements

Master’s in quantitative finance or related field
Possess a strong work ethic and be able to learn quickly in a fast paced, high-pressure environment
FX or precious metals experience
Maintain composure and communicate clearly when under pressure
Ability to succeed working as part of a diversified team
Strong understanding of math, probability, and statistics
Coding skills primarily in Python are a must
Advanced aptitude for problem solving
