Requirements
  • Advanced working knowledge of key networking technologies, including switches, network interface cards, data processing units, and AI fabrics.
  • Working knowledge of data center network design and optical distribution.
  • Knowledge of, and relationships with, key networking suppliers and knowledge of networking protocol industry standards.
  • Ability to take a concept through to a product.
  • Willingness and ability to negotiate competing interests and priorities to achieve the best possible outcome for stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer and partner project or program leadership experience.
  • Ability to understand competitive and business needs while developing technical solutions.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Ability to assess customer requirements and develop a blueprint based on the customer's geographical area.
Responsibilities
  • Participate in the development of next-generation large-scale AI infrastructure, including accelerated compute, AI fabric, and AI-optimized storage.
  • Engage with high-profile AI customers to optimize solutions for their applications and tune systems for maximum performance.
  • Drive innovation at the data center level with liquid cooling technologies and power density.
  • Drive network and fabric design based on customer requirements and required infrastructure.
  • Address InfiniBand, Ethernet, AFL, and other fabric topologies that scale based on data center requirements.
  • Design fabrics covering Ethernet, InfiniBand, and other emerging fabrics.
  • Develop network topologies optimized for training and inferencing.
  • Lead the development of end-to-end AI network architecture, including GPU-to-GPU, server-to-storage, in-rack cabling, and optical design at the data center level.
  • Optimize network topology and configuration to maximize AI cluster performance.
  • Work closely with key external partners to create differentiated solutions.
  • Develop networking software, solutions, and architecture to integrate with AI frameworks and applications.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering focused on networking and AI fabrics.
  • Ten years of related experience, which can be offset with an advanced degree.
