Stewart Information Services acquires telecommunications specialist Tower Title.

Stewart Information Services acquires telecommunications specialist Tower Title. September 2, 2026 Houston-based title insurer and real estate services firm Stewart Information Services Corp. reports it has acquired East Providence, Rhode Island-based Tower Title, a national specialist in title services for the telecommunications industry. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Founded in 2019, Tower Title serves the telecommunication industry, while also servicing solar farms, wind turbines, data centers, and billboards. Telecommunications firms rely on title insurance to protect the land they lease or purchase for their data centers, cell towers, data centers, fiber optic lines, and rooftop equipment against boundary disputes, ownership claims or legal defects. The acquisition strengthens and diversifies Stewart's National Commercial Services (NCS), specifically the company's Energy & Infrastructure group, by adding a complementary infrastructure business. "The commercial energy and infrastructure sectors have exploded over recent years, and by investing in complementary businesses that enhance our customer offerings, we are creating a sought-after destination for new and existing projects across the country," said Erin Sheckler, Group President, Stewart NCS. "With the backing of a strong national underwriter, we will be able to build on our success while continuing to deliver the high level of service our customers expect," said Kevin Bradley, co-founder and CEO of Tower Title. Turk & Co. served as financial advisor to Tower Title in this transaction. Was this article valuable? Interested in mergers? Get automatic alerts for this topic.

Stewart continues mortgage-services buildout with two acquisitions.

Stewart continues mortgage-services buildout with two acquisitions. Sep 01, 2026 ProTitleUSA and DocSolutionUSA add title analytics, portfolio due diligence, and mortgage document preparation to Stewart's lender and servicer platform Stewart Information Services Corp. has acquired ProTitleUSA and DocSolutionUSA, adding title analytics, portfolio due diligence, and real estate document preparation to its growing mortgage-services business. Financial terms of the acquisitions were not disclosed. The two companies provide title, document, and due diligence services to mortgage servicers, investors, and capital-markets clients. Stewart said the acquisitions will add scale to its centralized title operations while strengthening its ability to support loans and mortgage assets throughout their lifecycle. "Both of these companies bring specialized expertise that aligns with Stewart's long-term strategy for our centralized title services," Stewart CEO Fred Eppinger said. "Together with our existing offerings, these businesses expand our scale in title services, strengthen our lender and servicer offerings for investors and capital market clients, and add innovative analytic and document generation capabilities that are highly complementary to our existing platform." ProTitleUSA provides nationwide residential and commercial title searches, title examinations, tax searches, lien validation, curative services, and portfolio-level analytics. Its services include due diligence for newly originated loans as well as performing, nonperforming, second-lien, reverse-mortgage, and commercial assets. DocSolutionUSA prepares, tracks, and records mortgage-related documents, including assignments, releases, and modifications. Its other services include collateral-file reviews, assignment-chain reviews, title curative work, document execution coordination, and data extraction. ProTitleUSA acquired DocSolution in 2021, combining its title-search and analytics operation with DocSolution's document preparation and recording services. Terms of that transaction also were not disclosed. For lenders and servicers, the latest deal places more of the work required when mortgages are originated, sold, transferred, modified, securitized, or resolved within Stewart's broader platform. "By combining complementary title, document, and transaction capabilities, we're helping customers execute faster, reduce complexity, and manage risk across the full asset lifecycle," said Beth Fowler, president of Stewart Lender Services. Stewart did not disclose the companies' revenue, employee count, transaction volume, or expected financial contribution. It also did not say whether the two companies will retain their existing brands or how their technology will be integrated into Stewart's platform. The acquisitions continue Stewart's effort to broaden its business beyond traditional title insurance and settlement services. In December, Stewart completed its $330 million acquisition of Mortgage Contracting Services' mortgage-services business after announcing the transaction in November. That deal added property preservation, property inspections, asset management, and maintenance services used by lenders and servicers, particularly in default servicing. Stewart has also used acquisitions to build capabilities in specialized areas of mortgage lending. In 2022, the company acquired FNC Title Services, a title and closing provider focused on reverse mortgages. "ProTitle and DocSolution were built around a commitment to service, innovation, and helping customers unlock additional transaction value through analytics, product creation, and automation," said Alex Goldovsky, CEO of ProTitleUSA and DocSolutionUSA. "Joining Stewart gives us the opportunity to expand that mission with the financial strength, resources, and industry reach of one of the most respected companies in real estate services."
