Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of eight years of related experience is required.
  • The candidate must have a strong understanding of general accounting standards and principles.
  • The candidate must have an expert understanding of design and/or construction accounting practices.
  • The candidate must be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite.
  • The candidate must have strong labor and cost planning and forecasting abilities.
  • The candidate must be able to provide risk mitigation strategies to projects in a proactive and timely manner.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare project labor and expense plans.
  • Forecast through the use of accounting and project management systems.
  • Provide risk mitigation by alerting management of known and unknown project risks through proactive monitoring of labor and expenses for assigned projects.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of cost control policy, including internal processes and procedures.
  • Routinely converse with the cost control team and the Project Director or Manager, design staff, and field staff while conveying and reinforcing these processes and procedures.
