- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related major, or equivalent experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with tenacity and initiative.
- Knowledge of Android frameworks and the Android software development kit.
- Working knowledge of iOS, Swift, Objective-C, C#, and the Apple ecosystem.
- Working knowledge of relational databases and SQLite/Core Data.
- Ability to understand and parse XML, JSON, and serialized data.
- Experience with the Bluetooth Low Energy protocol.
- Develop a testing strategy for the wearable platform software development kit, public application programming interfaces, and reference applications.
- Design and execute test cases to maximize platform quality, performance, and scalability.
- Discover vulnerabilities through stress testing and exposure of corner cases.
- Work side-by-side with the development team to triage issues and provide technical solutions.
- Test wearable software running on Android 4.4 or later and Apple iOS 7 or later companion devices.
- Create and implement automation for test frameworks on mobile platforms.
- Provide constructive feedback on platform quality and consistency to the product team.
- Collaborate with remote global teams across product, device, application, cloud, and test functions.
- A Master's Degree or another advanced degree.
