Requirements
  • FINRA Series 79 or 7, Series 63, and SIE, or willingness to take and pass these exams within 3 months of start date
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred)
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in sales (or sponsor coverage) within investment banking, financial services, or a related industry
  • Strong track record of achieving targets and driving growth in a competitive market
  • Understanding of investment banking products and services, including capital raising, M&A, debt and equity financing, and advisory services
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to analyze financial data and utilize CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to track leads and performance
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with the inside sales team on qualifying potential prospects
  • Conduct introductory meetings both virtually and in person with C-level executives
  • Utilize Salesforce to record prospect communication activities, manage future follow-up activities, and share information with other stakeholders within the organization
  • Build deep and meaningful relationships with prospects until such time that an M&A transaction is desired
  • Team with industry bankers to target specific industries and companies and strategize at the appropriate time to team up and pitch our services
  • Become a brand ambassador of Lincoln International’s service offerings in the marketplace
  • Compile and submit weekly reports
