Requirements
  • A high school diploma is required.
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field from a college or university accredited by the United States Department of Education is highly preferred.
  • One year of related experience is required if the candidate does not have an Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
  • Personal recovery time is required.
  • Basic knowledge of the Recovery Model is required.
  • Candidates must complete background checks required by Aspire Indiana's policies, which may include a drug test, criminal history check, driving history record check, Sex Offender Registry Search, State Central Registry Check, employment verification, education verification, and professional references.
  • Candidates must have a valid Indiana driver's license.
  • Candidates must provide Aspire Indiana with current auto insurance upon hire.
  • Candidates must have a driving record that meets the organization's guidelines and requirements.
  • A drug screen, TB test, and extensive background checks are required of all Aspire employees.
Responsibilities
  • Engage and support individuals and their families in pursuit of recovery and related goals.
  • Provide peer support and skills training.
  • Connect individuals with community resources.
  • Provide home- and community-based interventions.
  • Maintain communication with referring courts.
