Requirements
- A high school diploma is required.
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field from a college or university accredited by the United States Department of Education is highly preferred.
- One year of related experience is required if the candidate does not have an Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
- Personal recovery time is required.
- Basic knowledge of the Recovery Model is required.
- Candidates must complete background checks required by Aspire Indiana's policies, which may include a drug test, criminal history check, driving history record check, Sex Offender Registry Search, State Central Registry Check, employment verification, education verification, and professional references.
- Candidates must have a valid Indiana driver's license.
- Candidates must provide Aspire Indiana with current auto insurance upon hire.
- Candidates must have a driving record that meets the organization's guidelines and requirements.
- A drug screen, TB test, and extensive background checks are required of all Aspire employees.
Responsibilities
- Engage and support individuals and their families in pursuit of recovery and related goals.
- Provide peer support and skills training.
- Connect individuals with community resources.
- Provide home- and community-based interventions.
- Maintain communication with referring courts.
Desired Qualifications
