We are a multidisciplinary team of engineers, content designers, and mental health experts building across the stack from machine learning to interface design.

The Role

We’re looking for a talented Product Designer to help us craft intuitive, engaging experiences that push our product to the next level. You’ll play a crucial role in shaping our user experience – transforming ideas into features that engage and delight users daily. As the first designer, you’ll help shape the product and company strategy. We’ve got a strong foundation, but there is so much opportunity to build a truly world class product, and bring magic into everything that we do.

What you’ll do:

• Develop and explore design directions quickly, helping us discover the most impactful solutions to focus on.

• Define new feature areas and flows with excellent attention to detail and polish, maintaining a high bar for quality and consistency across the user experience.

• Lead the charge on improving key areas like our conversational UX and app navigation, bringing clarity and delight to the user journey.

• Collaborate closely with product and engineering to turn concepts into polished, high-quality flows.

• Use data and user insights to inform design decisions, translating feedback into real-world improvements. 

• Contribute to refining experiences outside of the app – landing pages, emails, and other touch points to ensure a cohesive brand experience.

Who you are:

• You have 5+ years of experience as a product designer, ideally focusing on mobile apps designed for daily use.

• You build prototypes quickly - and show off ideas visually. You play around with new frameworks often, and truly love building things.

• You have a strong portfolio showcasing user-centric design thinking, polished UI craft, and innovative interaction paradigms

• A true generalist, you’re skilled in UX, UI, problem-solving, and user research.

• You’ve thrived in fast-paced environments, whether at an early-stage startup or a scaling company, and you’re excited by the challenge of building from the ground up.

• You love working as part of a cross-functional team, bringing others along for the ride, and know how to balance design ambition with business needs.

• You’re confident in your ideas, but humble in your approach—collaboration is key, and you know how to navigate the give-and-take of product development.

• Ideally, you’re based in NYC and love working together in person.
