Responsibilities

Lead and manage a high-performing SRE team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
Define and implement best practices for site reliability, scalability, performance optimization, and managing costs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment, operation, and monitoring of production systems.
Develop and maintain incident response plans, and lead the team in effectively resolving incidents to minimize downtime.
Implement and drive the adoption of automation tools and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Provide strategic direction and technical guidance for the team, keeping abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
Implement best practices and regulations related to security and compliance of the service.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Senior Manager of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of over 8+ years in Site Reliability Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of successful management experience leading SRE teams. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, availability, security, and performance of our systems, contributing to the overall success of our organization.

This position will report to the V.P. of Engineering Permitting and Licensing at OpenGov.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a high-performing SRE team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
