Requirements
- A university degree in a technical subject or business is required; engineering or computer science is ideal.
- Five years of experience with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) or Oracle Business Intelligence Applications (OBIA) is required.
- Five years of experience with data extraction, extract-transform-load tools, and Structured Query Language (SQL) is required.
- Relevant experience in finance or accounting-related functions is required.
- Experience with PeopleSoft, especially the General Ledger and reporting modules, is required; one to two years of experience is acceptable.
- Experience with Ascential DataStage 8.1 or 7.5, OBIEE, XML Publisher, Erwin or another data-modeling tool, Oracle databases, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Access, shell scripts, Benthic or Toad, Microsoft Windows, Solaris, and PeopleSoft Financials General Ledger is required.
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is required.
Responsibilities
- Work as an OBIEE or OBIA resource on a six-month engagement.
- Perform data extraction and ETL activities.
- Develop or support reporting and data-modeling solutions.
- Work with finance and accounting data, including PeopleSoft Financials General Ledger and reporting modules.
Desired Qualifications
- Excellent analytical skills or experience in reconciliation.
- Excellent communication and writing skills in English.
