  • Proven track record of approximately 5+ years in selling B2B Software as a Service products
  • Experience progressing from a Business Development Representative or Sales Development Representative to Account Executive
  • Experience running an effective sales cycle from prospecting to closing, typically for VP and C-level executives
  • Revenue responsibility and ability to exceed targets at fast-growing software companies
  • Strong academic background and/or competitive sports background
  • Sales process expertise and ability to craft memorable sales processes tailored to SaaS VP and C-level executives
  • Curiosity to understand customers' commercial challenges and identify solutions
  • Business acumen; tech-savvy and quick learner; ability to figure out customers' biggest commercial challenges and set them on path to long-term success
  • Willingness to work in Toronto, Ontario, in a hybrid role with at least 3 days in the office
Responsibilities
  • Set future clients up for long-term success and tailor each sale accordingly
  • Tailor approach for every person, including leaders with unique goals and pain points
  • Engage in strategic discussions with the Chief Revenue Officer, C-suite, deep dives into product, and address nitty-gritty details
  • Listen, build trust, understand what success looks like, handle objections, create the right onboarding plan, and steer the path to a signed contract
  • Contribute to Planhat's go-to-market strategy and sales process
  • Collaborate with the Account Executive team in Toronto, Ontario
  • Perform sales activities that lead to closing deals with VP and C-level executives

  • Experience working with FinTech companies
  • Track record of crafting and executing sales processes tailored to SaaS VP/C-level executives
  • Prior startup experience and ability to thrive in fast-growing software companies
  • Experience with enterprise-level sales and complex negotiations
