The Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join the risk team, as Business Continuity and Risk Coordinator. Reporting to the Chief Risk officer, you will play a key role within the Risk team, working with risk representatives and stakeholders across the Company, assisting with reporting and assessments and helping progress the company’s risk program. The role gives a breadth of exposure across all business areas and would suit an ambitious self-starter.
Main responsibilities
Reporting and Documentation:
- Schedule risk assessments, stakeholder meetings, prepare agendas and meeting materials
- Timely report preparation for relevant risk meetings: Departmental, Risk Management Steering Group, Audit Committee and Board
- Minutes from meetings led by the Risk Management team to be captured
- Maintain relevant processes, reports, on relevant platforms such as SharePoint
- Ensure risk information is accurately maintained, updated, and follow up actions scheduled as required
- Ensure documentation is accurate, consistent, and completed to a high standard.
Enterprise Risk Management (ERM):
- Working with risk owners to complete risk assessment, risk evaluation and risk reports
- Provide information to departments as required, e.g. Group Internal Audit
- Building risk awareness amongst staff e.g., by providing support with risk reporting help produce templates and guides for risk training within the company
- Ensuring the Group’s risk database is maintained with relevant risks across the business
Business Continuity (BCP):
- Working with business teams to ensure that business continuity and disaster recovery plans and procedures are updated and complete
- Ensuring BCM processes and related documentation are maintained and documented to a high standard
- Scheduling business continuity tests, writing post-test reports, and ensuring any test issues are actioned.
Required Skills
- Strong administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail

- Ability to work autonomously and within a team
- An in-depth understanding and experience of Risk Management would be preferred
- Computer literacy and able to adapt to new systems - e.g. Jira, Signavio (SAP)

- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters
Desired skills
- Ideally experience of managing projects involving the interface of IT and business functions with multiple stakeholders
- Knowledge of ISO 27001
- Experience of creating and administering Business Impact Analysis’ and developing Business
- Continuity Plans in a technology led organisation would be beneficial
- Experience of IT Disaster Recovery plans and tests
- Experience developing incident response and crisis management plans
This role is also eligible for hybrid working (50% of time in the office and 50% of time at home).
