Description

The Grill Rooms is seeking a friendly and professional Host/Hostess to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a positive first and last impression for our guests by maintaining a professional, pleasant, and helpful attitude while greeting guests, escorting them to their tables, and fulfilling their needs.

Responsibilities:

- Greet guests with a warm and friendly smile

- Escort guests to their table and present menus

- Take reservations and manage the waitlist

- Understand the menus and cocktail service in detail

- Provide excellent customer service to guests

- Work in a high-volume environment

- Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

- Answer multiple phone lines and take accurate messages

- Operate POS system to process payments and manage orders if needed

- Maintain a clean and organized host stand area

Requirements

- 1 year of customer service experience

- Ability to work in a high-volume environment

- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

- Excellent customer service, written and verbal communication skills

- Strong organizational skills

- Ability to work multiple phone lines

- Ability to operate POS system
