Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Six years of professional experience as a software developer.
  • Hands-on experience in a fully Agile environment, such as Scaled Agile Framework or Scrum, with a comprehensive understanding of Agile principles and methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience building and consuming GraphQL APIs.
  • Experience using or creating custom solutions on API management portals, such as Azure API Management, AWS API Gateway with Portal, or equivalent API management platforms.
  • Proven experience with ASP.NET Core, .NET Core, and Entity Framework Core.
  • Strong proficiency in React and Next.js for building dynamic standalone front-end applications, micro-frontends, and web components.
  • Familiarity with Node.js or another server-side language for server-side rendering and microservices.
  • Familiarity with Azure services, DevOps practices, and SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with modern DevOps practices and tools such as continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
Responsibilities
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand developer portal requirements.
  • Configure and customize an API management portal solution to showcase GraphQL endpoints, documentation, partner onboarding workflows, authentication, usage analytics, APIs, and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with a technical writer to ensure portal functionality has clear documentation.
  • Architect, develop, and maintain React and Next.js components that can be embedded by third-party partners.
  • Ensure embedded components are easy to integrate, secure, and performant across varied front-end environments.
  • Refine, enhance, and extend existing GraphQL APIs to support the embedded marketplace initiative.
  • Maintain best practices for API design, versioning, schema management, and documentation.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other developers.
  • Work cross-functionally with product managers, user experience and user interface designers, quality assurance, and DevOps teams.
  • Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and architecture discussions.
  • Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies for high-quality releases.
  • Implement security best practices, including OAuth and token-based authentication.
  • Design scalable solutions capable of handling high traffic volumes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
