Apex Group and Truleum launch Dubai's first regulated tokenised private markets fund

Apex Group and Truleum Venture Partners have launched Truleum Fund I LP, a Dubai International Finance Centre-domiciled private markets fund regulated by the Dubai Finance Services Authority. The fund issues digitally native units within a regulated framework using Tokeny technology. The structure combines institutional governance with digital issuance architecture, embedding compliance controls, transfer restrictions and investor eligibility directly within the asset layer. The firms say this approach enhances transparency and operational efficiency whilst maintaining regulatory alignment. Naveed Zamir Yasir, Apex Group's Dubai country head, said the launch reflects an industry shift towards tokenised structures built on strong governance. Dolly Ramaiya, founder of Truleum Venture Partners, described the fund as a foundational milestone for modernising private market infrastructure through fund and asset tokenisation.
