As Locus Robotics’ General Counsel, you will support all areas of the businees and be a thought partner to its executive team and board of directors to help set and influence the strategic direction of the business You are a proven people leader with strong organizational skills, work ethic, and initiative. Responsibilities

• Direct, guide, and manage Locus Robotics enterprise-wide and global legal matters.
• Strengthen and scale our legal capabilities through systems, people and processes.
• Build a world-class legal team to support our hyper growth.
• Facilitate continued global expansion outside of the United States with appropriate legal structure.
• Enable People Operations function by partnering on employment-related matters.
• Drive potential future transition to a public company by maintaining an active role in IPO preparedness.
• Guide, inform, and manage intellectual property strategy.
• Manage and direct external counsel, as necessary.
• Remain vigilant with regards to changes to Company regulatory environment.
• Partner with customer contracting group to ensure an optimal balance of risk mitigation and expediency in bookings.
• Own vendor and partner contracting matters.  

Qualifications

• 12+ years of legal experience including as a corporate attorney in a technology company.
• Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Successful experience transitioning from a private to a public company is a must.
• Outcome-focused, self-starter mindset.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and cross-functional communication skills.
