Responsibilities
  • Lead the translation of business and customer requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
  • Serve as the team's subject matter expert on product functionality, customer needs, and strategic initiatives.
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software focused on reliability, performance, security, and supportability.
  • Identify opportunities to reuse existing components and services to accelerate delivery and improve consistency across products.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and influence product direction through technical leadership and innovation.
  • Drive the implementation of complex solutions, ensuring appropriate validation, testing, and documentation.
  • Champion automated testing strategies and continuous integration practices across the engineering organization.
  • Coach and mentor developers on automated testing, code quality, and engineering best practices.
  • Define and drive quality standards, metrics, and processes to ensure consistent quality.
  • Monitor and optimize automated test suites and continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines for efficiency and reliability.
  • Review build and deployment metrics to identify issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead root cause analysis for production and customer issues and drive long-term improvements to development processes.
  • Ensure test strategies, test cases, and product documentation evolve with product enhancements.
  • Advocate for modern software engineering standards and a disciplined software development lifecycle.
  • Identify recurring issues, recommend process improvements, and implement corrective actions based on lessons learned.
  • Guide teams in designing observability, monitoring, logging, and diagnostics capabilities into applications.
  • Use metrics and operational insights to identify performance trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies, tools, and engineering practices, including AI-assisted development capabilities.
  • Partner with Product Management, Customer Support, Professional Services, and other stakeholders to understand customer needs and improve product quality.
  • Incorporate customer feedback into technical decisions to ensure solutions deliver measurable business value.
  • Act as a trusted technical resource for resolving complex customer issues and driving enhancements into the product roadmap.
  • Mentor and develop engineers through technical coaching, knowledge sharing, and leadership by example.

NCR Voyix reported Q2 2026 results showing 3% recurring revenue growth despite a 21% overall revenue decline to $523 million, driven by its hardware business transition. Excluding hardware impact, total revenue rose 1%. The company's adjusted EBITDA increased 5% to $98 million, with margins expanding 460 basis points to 18.7%. The retail segment performed strongly, with recurring revenue up 6% and adjusted EBITDA rising 20% to $97 million. Pizza Ranch selects NCR Voyix to power restaurant operations with Aloha Next platform

Pizza Ranch has selected NCR Voyix as its exclusive point-of-sale technology partner across all corporate and franchise locations. The Midwest restaurant chain will deploy Aloha Next, NCR Voyix's next-generation restaurant platform built on microservices architecture, starting in 2027. The platform will provide a unified foundation for point of sale, payments and in-store capabilities. According to Jon Moss, senior vice president and chief brand officer at Pizza Ranch, the system will streamline operations for franchisees and support faster innovation whilst reducing friction in guest and back-of-house experiences. NCR Voyix's platform combines restaurant technology with AI-powered microservices architecture. The agreement covers Pizza Ranch's franchise network across the United States, supporting the chain's operational consistency and long-term growth objectives.

NCR Voyix Q1 revenue dips to $606M as EPS improves to $(0.04)

NCR Voyix faces split analyst views as targets drop to $9–$14 amid platform wins

NCR Voyix's modelled fair value has been reduced from $14.19 to $13.25, reflecting more cautious assumptions amid diverging analyst views.
