Requirements
  • Possess the skills, knowledge, and abilities essential to successfully perform the assigned duties.
  • Demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job.
  • Have manual therapy skills applicable to orthopedics and sports medicine.
  • Have knowledge of athletic injury prevention and the administration of therapeutic modalities, devices, and rehabilitation techniques.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Have demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Hold Athletic Trainer Certification (ATC).
  • Be able to work as a collaborative team member.
  • Be able to read and understand medical terminology.
  • Be able to problem solve, prioritize, and organize work.
  • Be able to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
  • Be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the health system.
  • Provide proof of work authorization in the United States.
Responsibilities
  • Provide physician support and outreach.
  • Assist with day-to-day clinic operations by rooming patients, providing patient intake, and reviewing records relevant to patient visits.
  • Assist with patient preparation and education, post-operative procedures, DME fitting and ordering, gait training, and other requested duties.
  • Provide instruction for in-home exercise programs and conduct biomechanical assessments.
  • Provide casting services ordered by the physician.
  • Assist with the daily administration of clinic duties.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to athletic trainers for the rehabilitation of athletic injuries.

  • Have knowledge of university and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms.
