What believers are saying

  • June 2026 hire Heather Yi from Brightree signals aggressive enterprise expansion.
  • CMS's March 2026 anti-fax rule directly expands demand for Parachute's digitized workflows.
  • The March 2026 authorization launch tackles a painful reimbursement bottleneck and speeds collections.

What critics are saying

  • Nymbl's April 2026 integration commoditizes intake, letting providers bypass Parachute's interface.
  • Brightree, ResMed, and payer portals already control provider workflows and customer relationships.
  • If CMS and payer-native digital standards win, Parachute becomes a replaceable feature.

What makes Parachute Health unique

  • Parachute Health owns HME ordering workflows across 370,000 clinicians and 54,000 facilities.
  • March 2026 authorization workflow unifies submissions, status tracking, and payer communication in one system.
  • Its network effects deepen through integrations like Nymbl and Brightree-friendly digital renewals.

In her new role, Yi will help HME provider accounts expand platform usage, improve operational workflows and grow their businesses. She will oversee Parachute's expanding customer success team as the company invests in its provider network. Nymbl launches Parachute Health Integration to automate order intake and accelerate patient fulfillment.

Nymbl launches Parachute Health Integration to automate order intake and accelerate patient fulfillment. Nymbl Systems Apr 14, 2026, 10:00 ET Nymbl's new integration with Parachute Health eliminates manual order entry and streamlines intake workflows, helping providers move faster from referral to fulfillment. DUBLIN, Ohio, April 14, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ - Nymbl announced a new integration with Parachute Health, the leading ePrescribing and order management platform, enabling HME, CRT, and O&P providers to automatically import and manage Parachute Health orders directly within Nymbl. The integration eliminates manual order re-entry, reduces documentation errors, and accelerates patient fulfillment workflows. As hospitals, referral sources, and ordering clinicians increasingly adopt Parachute Health for electronic ordering, providers have been forced to manually transcribe order data into their practice management systems, a process that creates bottlenecks, increases error rates, and slows patient care delivery. With Parachute Health reporting a 98% clean order rate and median order submission times of 2-5 minutes, the value of automation compounds at scale. Nymbl's integration automatically imports accepted Parachute Health orders into a dedicated intake queue, maps provider, product, and documentation data, and creates prescriptions within existing Nymbl workflows. The integration also supports bi-directional commenting, fulfillment status updates that sync back to Parachute Health, and document ingestion including post-order events. "This integration reflects what our customers have been asking for," said Josh Lau, Founder and CEO of Nymbl. "Providers shouldn't have to choose between accepting Parachute Health orders and running an efficient operation. Now they can do both, in one system, without the manual work." "We're looking forward to better supporting our customers who rely on Nymbl to manage their business," shared Rob Boeye, EVP and HME Commercial Leader at Parachute Health. "Nymbl's focus on simplifying operations and empowering teams aligns with our mission at Parachute, so this integration is a perfect way to support both of those goals while ensuring patients receive what they need." Chris Keefe, Chief Product Officer at Nymbl, added, "We designed this integration to fit seamlessly into the workflows our customers already use. Orders come in, patients are matched, prescriptions are created, and fulfillment status flows back to Parachute Health automatically. It's the kind of integration that turns hours of manual work into minutes." The Parachute Health integration is part of Nymbl's 2026 product roadmap and is available to customers beginning in Q2 2026. Parachute Health launches digital authorisation workflow to cut admin burden for home medical equipment providers

Parachute Health has announced a new digital authorisation workflow designed to streamline collaboration between home medical equipment (HME) providers and health plans. The platform integrates authorisation submission, status tracking and communication into a single system, reducing administrative burden for HME providers. The initiative addresses challenges created by fragmented manual processes, including multiple portals, documentation gaps and delayed payments. HME providers can now submit authorisation requests digitally, track real-time updates and link authorisations to original orders within Parachute's existing order management platform. The solution builds on Parachute's ePrescribing and AI Intake capabilities. CEO David Gelbard said the platform extends the same principles that previously helped providers receive faster payments through clean, structured orders. The company serves as a technology platform connecting HME providers and health plans whilst they maintain their own network relationships.
