Requirements
  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required.
  • Customer service, financial service, accounting, technical, or other experience demonstrating problem-solving ability, work under strict deadlines, and production of quality outputs is required.
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the discipline is required.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret contract documents to ensure billing complies with all contract terms.
  • Process changes in information systems to support accurate and efficient billing and financial close.
  • Facilitate accurate and timely billing of services and fees to facility clients.
  • Complete interim statement reviews to ensure charges are accurate.
  • Participate in month-end closing and audits as necessary.
  • Provide customer support by phone or electronic communications.
  • Support other departments, such as Census, when volumes or needs dictate.
  • Perform the job under general supervision.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
  • Conduct job responsibilities in accordance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, policies and procedures, Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards.

  • An Associate's degree is desired.
  • Experience with third-party billing or collections/billing in the healthcare industry is desired.
  • Experience with AS400 computers is desired.
