Requirements
  • 5–7 years of experience in heavy civil construction, focused on infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, and tunnels.
  • MOT Supervisor (GDOT) Certification via WTCS is preferred; otherwise, company-provided training is required according to job specifications.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English.
  • Ability to move throughout a construction jobsite, including navigating minor obstacles, climbing ladders and inclines, operating heavy equipment, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to perform strenuous physical activity of a primarily productive and technical nature.
  • Sufficient manual dexterity to reach and handle items, work with the fingers, and perceive attributes of objects and materials.
  • Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions, including rain, sun, snow, and wind.
Responsibilities
  • Use signs or devices to direct traffic.
  • Assemble, position, and clean devices or equipment used to direct traffic.
  • Communicate verbally in English and Spanish with the public.
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge and skills.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
