  • Minimum of five years of enterprise database, security and networking software solution selling experience
  • 10+ years of experience working with/in US Government, Defense Industry, & Public Sector
  • Extensive experience and key contacts within targeted defense agencies
  • Solid understanding of government procurement processes, FARS, DFARS, federal contracting and contract vehicles, regulations and teaming agreements
Responsibilities
  • Deliver revenue growth that meets/exceeds the Fed/Gov business plan
  • Develop a strategic sales and partner territory plan
  • Take ownership of all opportunities to ensure relationship building
  • Work collaboratively with policy experts for successful deal closure
  • Renew client spend year on year and identify upsell opportunities
  • Conduct regular partner and client meetings
  • Generate new sales leads via multichannel approach
  • Initiate sales through pro-active means
  • Travel to trade shows and client sites
  • Coordinate follow-up activities
  • Exemplify professionalism and become a trusted advisor
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented
  • Good technical foundation to understand the technology
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Excellent opportunity forecasting and qualification skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook
