Requirements
- The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Candidates must have 2+ years of experience working in web application development.
- Candidates must have 2 years working with Java/J2EE, JSP, Struts, and Springs and object-oriented concepts.
- Candidates must have demonstrated expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML/XSL.
- Candidates must have expertise with the Eclipse Integrated Development Environment and related Java build tools and techniques.
- Candidates must be familiar with Oracle and PL/SQL.
- Candidates must have good teamwork skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and migrate Visual Basic/ASP applications to the J2EE framework.
- Communicate with the project manager and development team members in formats such as Excel sheets and Word documents.
- Communicate with the team lead and team members about the details of the proposed design and progress on the work.
- Estimate effort based on requirements and adhere to estimates and timelines.
- Follow project management and lifecycle development processes, procedures, and standards to meet extremely high quality assurance goals.
- Generate unit tests, test data, and test scripts.
