Modeling and Simulation Specialist

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Modeling and Simulation Specialist to join our team in the Lexington Park, MD area. This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Posses’ knowledge modeling and simulation functions or operations such as, but not limited to exercises, plans, coordination, demonstrations, and instruction in the fields such as, but not limited to health, environmental, transportation, law enforcement, military, and civil agencies. 

• Provides supervision and guidance on the proper operation and use of simulation models and exercises. 

• May support live, constructive, or virtual training.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required.

•  Zero (0) or more years’ experience possessing knowledge and application in modeling and simulation functions or operations such as plans, coordination, exercises, demonstrations, and instruction.

• Experienced in supervision and guidance on the proper operation and use of simulation models and exercises.

• Have good written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.

• Experience supporting live, constructive, or virtual training.

Preferred Qualifications

• BS/MS in related field

• Five (5+) or more years of experience

• Experience with configuration management tools: GIT, Sourcesafe, ClearCase, BitBucket, GitHub

• Experience writing, reviewing, and maintaining new or existing software requirements, technical documentation such as user manuals, product specifications, and training materials

Security Clearance Requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen

• Must have a current/active Secret clearance, and must be willing and able to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

• The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.

• Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
