Requirements
  • A minimum of an associate's degree, specialized or technical training, or equivalent combined experience and education is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience are required.
  • Working knowledge of laboratory equipment and research protocols is required.
  • Knowledge of computer analysis techniques and the ability to provide routine analysis and interpretation of research data are required.
Responsibilities
  • Work in the Neural Plasticity and Neurorehabilitation Laboratory on research involving neuroimaging, genetics, brain-behavior relationships after stroke, brain stimulation, and telerehabilitation.
  • Organize, maintain, and analyze large brain imaging datasets.
  • Conduct routine analysis and interpretation of research data.
  • Work with research partners worldwide.
Desired Qualifications
  • A bachelor's or higher degree in Neuroscience, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Technical knowledge of neuroimaging and brain anatomy.
  • Extensive experience organizing, maintaining, and analyzing large brain imaging datasets.
  • Programming expertise with Python and Bash, and experience with cloud computing.
  • Experience with Brain Imaging Data Standards and structural MRI-based neuroimaging software such as FreeSurfer and ITK-SNAP.
  • Experience with statistics and machine learning.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, organization, adaptability, attention to detail, initiative, motivation, and willingness to learn.
