Pursuing a bachelors degree in an engineering discipline required
Ability to influence outcomes and drive initiatives in complex environments
Possesses strong presentation skills and communicates clearly and professionally at various levels both inside and outside the company

Responsibilities

Understand product/ part designs and the impact of design changes to Powertrain manufacturing equipment
Utilize analytic problem-solving skills, including knowledge of 8D, Six Sigma, DOE or similar certifications/ disciplines
Gain holistic knowledge of the product, production processes, and manufacturing technologies in order to understand and mitigate risks, as well as to recognize optimization opportunities
Support the Powertrain manufacturing team in optimizing line layouts, cycle times, equipment engineering and DFM reviews

Desired Qualifications

Previous internships in automotive industry is a plus
University projects with battery/ solar/ automotive technologies is a plus
Working knowledge of Catia or AutoCAD is a plus

The Powertrain Manufacturing Engineering Intern will be responsible for supporting deployment of new products at Lucid. The Powertrain Manufacturing Engineering Intern will work closely with Project Management, Vehicle Integration, Design Engineering, Logistics, Manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of new products and changes.

Role
