Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar technical related field.
- At least 5 years of MySQL database administration experience.
- Experience working in Linux and Windows administration environments.
- Experience with highly available database technologies such as clustering and replication.
- Experience developing database security standards and best practices.
- Experience administering MySQL and/or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Knowledge of MySQL scripting languages including Perl, Bash, Python, Shell, or Ruby.
Desired Qualifications
- Understanding of multi-tier application architecture and technologies, including web servers, database servers, and load balancers.
- Strong command-line and scripting knowledge.
